FOUNDER - Robert B. Dilmore, Sr.



Bob Dilmore is a long term veteran of the automobile industry. He started as a retail car and truck salesman with Ford and became a sales manager of a suburban Denver Ford dealership. He joined Buick Motor Division in 1953 as an assistant car distributor. He held thirteen different field positions and three different central office positions in his tenure with General Motors. His last position was as National Director of Fleet, Lease, and Rental, setting an all-time record for fleet sales for Buick. He has owned dealerships in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. He was vice-president in charge of the Moderator staff at NCM, Vice-President of Dealer Services at Egan Management Co., and he started his own consulting firm in 1987 - Management Performance Groups, Inc.


Today, he and his staff serve car and truck dealers and other small to medium size businesses in the USA and Canada. MPG's core competencies are Twenty Groups, on-site consulting, business management services, dealership valuations, litigation support, and human resources. Dilmore has been a feature article writer for Dealer Magazine and a frequent speaker for dealers, AICPA, and other automotive industry events.

Management Performance Groups, Inc. (MPG) has been strategically built on a solid foundation. MPG was established in 1987 by automotive retail experts. Since the beginning, MPG has experimented with, sought out, built and significantly improved different applications of the Twenty Group Forum for both the automotive and truck retailers; as well as a wide range of other businesses.
